Mishelle Garrett

Mishelle Garrett, 37, of Baytown was born May 7, 1973 in Houston and passed away Sunday, February 20, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was a 1991 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School and graduated from The University of Houston. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and she loved children.

She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Ray Garrett and is survived by her son, Avery Atley Garrett, mother, Barbara Garrett, and brother, John Garrett, all of Baytown; and many beloved friends.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 3811 N. Main St., Baytown, TX 77521 with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Butler, Donovan Booker, Eddie Robinson, Deon Barbee, Jaime Pena, and Mark Krog.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
