Murry Lynn Rhoades

Murry Lynn Rhoades, 51, of Lubbock, TX formerly of Baytown was born August 29, 1958 in Baytown and passed away Monday, August 9, 2010 at home. He was a 1976 graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School. He was a Master Electrician and owned Rhoades of Texas Services. He loved spending time with his children and deer hunting.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Murry and Phyllis Busch and parents, William and Mary Rhoades. He is survived by the mother of his children, Teri Whitley Rhoades of Baytown; son, Murry Ross Rhoades of Austin; daughters and son-in-law, Kelli and Doug Fairall of Forney and Jodi Elizabeth Rhoades of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Donna Rhoades of Baytown; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Terry Horton of Dayton; significant other, Lisa Platt Green of Lubbock; his dog, Tank; and numerous other family members and friends.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Bayou Grace United Methodist Church, 2714 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77521. Burial will follow at Cedar Bayou Masonic Cemetery.
