Nellie Virginia Stubbs

Nellie was a devoted homemaker, cherishing her role in nurturing her family and home. Her marriage to Jerome Stubbs spanned 68 beautiful years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment.

Her life was enriched by her love for Christ and her family. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her.

She is survived by her son Mark Stubbs and his wife Lisa. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren Logan Stubbs, Angelique Nash and her husband Ricky, James Stubbs and his wife Emily, Madison Stubbs and her husband Tye, Mackenzie Stubbs and her husband Bryson, Kelton Park, and Sarah Sargent. Nellie was also blessed with a large number of great-grandchildren, including Kason Park, Paisley Stubbs, Drake Nash, Noah Stubbs, Lily Stubbs, Violet Stubbs, Ryleigh Nash, Jackson Stubbs, Hallie Burris, Paisleigh Burris, Rhyder Burris, Kinsleigh Burris, and Bryslynn Glidewell. She is also survived by her cousin Elaine Griffith, along with other loving family and friends.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband Jerome Stubbs, her parents Vilonia and William Coffman, her sisters Clara Fairchild, Patricia Godwin, Jeanette Mathis, and Roberta Williams, her niece Sandra Gail Vosburg, and her great granddaughter Maelynn Grace Glidewell.

A heartfelt thank you is extended to her wonderful caretakers and care team: Sarah, Tiffanie, Audrey, Tyler, Teresa, and Guy, for their compassionate support.

A visitation will be held at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, located at 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521, on October 11, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at the same location at 1:00 pm. The Graveside Service will take place at Tilton Cemetery, Chambers County, located at 7402 McCune Ln, Mont Belvieu, TX 77523, at 3:00 pm.

Nellie Virginia Stubbs will be remembered for her love, faith, and the joy she brought into the lives of her family and friends. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
