Nini Redder Riggs

Nini worked for herself as a Nursery/Daycare worker. She was a member of First Christian Church of Baytown, and was a member of Cedar Bayou #11, Order of the Eastern Star. She loved and enjoyed family, traveling, shopping, knitting and baking.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ester Redder; sister, Bente Williams; sons, Michael and Donald Peterson; husband, Charles Riggs; and grandson, Donald Peterson, II.

Nini is survived by her daughters, Kirsten Jackson (Mitchell) of Baytown, and Liselotte Kokott (Todd) of Baytown; grandchildren, Jamie Acord (Joe), Becky Peterson, Raelynn Mortensen (Colten), Laura Hernandez (Steve), Stephanie Peterson, Michael Peterson, Joshua Peterson, Oscar Peterson, Keira Remliy (Staton), Amanda Baswell (Tandy), Michael R. Peterson (Nancy), Matthew Kokott (Brittany), Megan Magee (Chase), Mason Kokott (Emily), Aric Jackson (Jessica), and Ashley Jackson; 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren on the way; many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and loving furbabies, Tinkerbell and Ellie Mae.

Visitation will be held from 10-11 am, Friday, May 27, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral service will begin at 11 am, also at Navarre Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Tilton Cemetery, in Old River-Winfree, TX.

Following the interment a reception will be held at: The Sanctuary, 10530 Eagle Dr., Mont Belvieu, TX 77523, where lunch will be served.
