Opal Mitchamore, 91, of Baytown was born September 22, 1926, in Mendenhall, MS and passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018, in a local healthcare facility. She retired from Lee College and was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert W. and Martha Cooper; five brothers and sisters; and husband, James P. Mitchamore. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Kerry Mitchamore; grandchildren, Mitch Mitchamore and Shannon Mitchamore; and five great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday, April 9, 2018, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
