

Opal B. Ranne, 83, of Baytown was born April 15, 1927 in Lafe, AR and passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She was a 1948 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and a member of Wooster Baptist Church. She was a professional artist and member of the Baytown Art League.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Beulah Miller, husband of 53 years, Calvin ""Bull"" Ranne; and sisters, Wanda Williams and Bonnie Walton. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Maria Ranne and Cary and Janet Ranne, all of Baytown; daughters and sons-in-law, Carla and Jesse Perkins of Channelview and Sharon and Terry Lea of Lufkin; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry and Sue Miller and Jesse and Theresa Miller, all of Huffman; sisters and brother-in-law, Myrna Fain of Northshore, Joyce and Chuck Skinner of Lufkin, and Diane Dunham of Pasadena; sisters-in-law, Rose Leveritt of Channelview and Linda Beeler of Quitman; and grandchildren, Todd Lea, Dwayne White, Christopher Ranne, Holly Ranne, Nicholas Ranne, Dion Ranne, Calvin Jivonney Ranne, Carrico DeMott, Ray Rendon, Christina Rendon, Robin Roberts, Angie Riley, and Allen Lea; and 16 great grandchildren.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, December 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Dr. Mack Jones officiating. Burial will follow at White Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons.
