

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Peggy Ann Brewer, age 85 years, went home to be with the Lord on August 29, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She had a special way with people and knew no stranger. Peggy was known for her generosity and positive attitude. She loved life and always had pictures and stories to tell.
On August 29th Peggy received a call from her heavenly Father with an offer she could not refuse, and an appointment from which she will not be returning. Her new assignment came with great benefits and a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Her new mission takes her to a wonderful place where healing, laughter and love is guaranteed. She left detailed instructions for her family and close friends to celebrate her mission here, which has now been completed.
Peggy was born in Baytown, Texas to William Alton Jones and Lila Epperson Jones on August 1st, 1931, along with her twin sister Patricia. She had one elder sister, Mary Ridge, and two younger brothers, William (Billy) Jones and Pete Jones. Peggy married Joseph Brewer (Joe) in 1950 and they were blessed with three children; Joanna, LaCresa, and Joseph Jr. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents Alton and Lila, one sister Mary, and beloved husband, Joe Brewer.
She is survived by: twin sister, Patricia Shull and husband Edward; brothers, Pete Jones and wife Barbara, and Billy Jones and wife Dian. Her surviving children are: daughters, Joanna Crespin and husband Tom and LaCresa Davis and husband Charlie, and son, Joseph Brewer Jr. and wife Sandy.
Surviving grandchildren are: Kristen Bevans, Patrick Crawford, Erin Jeffrey, Seth Jeffrey, Megan Joyner, Allison Stanley, Caroline Morales, and Marian Brewer. Surviving great-grandchildren are: Levi Bevans, Grant Joyner, Dax Stanforth, Madison Stanley, Owen Stanley, Joseph Evans Stanley, Ares Morales, and Aidan Morales.
She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
