

Born on November 8,1929 in Cedar bayou, Texas, Peggy lived a life rich in joy, kindness, and meaningful connections. She was known for her warm smile, here generous spirit, and her ability to make everyone feel at home. Throughout her life, she dedicated herself to her family and community and church. She created memories and traditions that will be cherished for generations to come.
Peggy found happiness in the simple things she was a life time member of Cedar Bayou Methodist Church. She loved sharing a meal around the table with family, quilting with all her friends, or at a domino table, she had the stories that brought laughter to all who listened. SHe approached life with gratitude and grace, and she had a remarkable way of making others feel truly loved.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Pittman McCarty and husband Scott McCarty. Grandchildren, Taryn Terrasas, Cameron Pittman, Justin McCarty, Blythe Pittman, Haley Woodruff and daughter in-law, Brandy Pittman. She also had 8 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Oliver Windred Fayle and Alice Mae Bullard Fayle, Siblings, Kathryn mae Odom, Ollie Hortance Enderli, and Morris Bubba Fayle. Marvin Dennis Pittman (husband) Kelly Blaine Pittman (son). Her legacy of love, wisdom, and joy will continue to live on through her family and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 19th, 2025 at Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas.
Peggy's life was a beautiful example of kindness, love, and resilience. Though she will be deeply missed, the lessons she taught and the love she shared will remain with us forever.
