Perry "Peck" Edward Meier

Perry “Peck” Edward Meier, 96, of Baytown, Texas, born November 26, 1928 in Hull Daisetta, TX passed away May 11, 2025 in Baytown, Texas. He has lived in Baytown for 72 years. He was a 1945 graduate of Hull Daisetta High School and enjoyed attendingall the 1945 class reunions up until 2023. Peck and his wife Druise opened Baytex Rentals in Baytown in 1963. Peck retired from his business in 2002 to enjoy his time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Edward and Effie Florence Meier; his wife Druise Ethel Meier; his daughter Jody Walton; his brother Gilbert Meier; his sisters Irene Locke and Florence Meier.

He is survived by his 3 children: Judy Haden (Jack) of Liberty; Jimmy Meier (Carrie) of Cedar Park and Joy Powers (Sam) of Baytown. There are 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Peck was a faithful member of Pruett and Lobit Street Church of Christ for 50+ years. Peck loved the Lord’s church and deer hunting across North America. As a member of the Baytown Lion’s Club, Peck held many offices and was recognized as the longest serving member of the Baytown location.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at 10:00 am at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown, TX 77521 The chapel service will start at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at 12:30 pm at Grandview Memorial Park Cemetery 5801 Spencer Hwy, Pasadena, TX 77505.
