Ramon was born August 10, 1964, in Sinton, Texas to Salva Chapa and Ramon M. “Red” Cabazos. Ramon was a graduate of Ross S. Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas.
Ramon continued to be a hardworking man his entire life. Retiring from Valero after serving 20+ years. Ramon was an avid New York Giants fan. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and would often escape to Palacios, Texas to fish whenever he had a chance. Ramon truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; spending time with family, friends and driving his red Jeep on his frequent trips to nearby beaches.
Ramon was preceded in death by his father Ramon M. “Red” Cabazos.
He is survived by his mother, Salva Chapa; his brothers, Robert Cabazos, Alonzo Chapa III and wife Isabel Chapa; his nieces, Arielle and Arabella Chapa, his nephews; Gavin and Joseph Cortez.

A visitation is scheduled for Saturday, January 14, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Pastor Tony Pena will officiate the ceremony. Flowers may be offered at Beehive Florist, 201 W. Baker Rd, Baytown, Texas 77521.
