He enjoyed spending time on the water and he loved to fish and enjoyed woodworking. He had a great sense of humor and was always willing to help others. A great family man, he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Earl Holbert, a brother, Bobby Holbert.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Rita Holbert, two sons, Derrick and Taylor Holbert, a daughter, Nina Holbert, three grandchildren, Keagen, Shelby and Dillon, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home located at 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521(281-422-8181).
