

Ray was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to Raymond and Lucy Parrino. As the oldest of six children, he spent his childhood helping his mother and father care for his younger siblings, a role that shaped his lifelong dedication to family and hard work.
He began working at a young age and, and in the early 1960’s he joined the City of Cleveland Heights in the garbage and sanitation department. Over the next 15 years, Ray earned promotion after promotion through his talent, grit, and unmatched work ethic. In 1978, a new opportunity brought him to Texas. Before long, Ray acquired a business and continued to expand it, adding a long-standing janitorial and landscaping contract with many other avenues in between, operating successfully for more than 47 years. His commitment to excellence and dependability built a legacy that still stands strong today.
Ray’s greatest joy in life was his family. He loved spending time with them, especially attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, never missing an opportunity to cheer them on. His home was always open to everyone; he welcomed all with warmth, conversation, and a genuine desire to help.
Ray’s physical and mental strength were remarkable, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Frances Parrino. His children; Barbara Parrino; Dino Parrino and wife Meghan; Terra Angel and husband Chance; Deena Broussard and husband Brady. His grandchildren; Krystle Friedrichs and husband Jonathan; Anthony Parrino; Daniel Parrino; Joseph Nava; Brittni Head; Jerat Parrino and wife Kathryn; Samantha Parrino; Brason Broussard; Braxton Broussard; Carter Angel; Carson Broussard; Dash Broussard; Priscilla Broussard. His siblings; Jerome Parrino; Sandra Dodge; Terry Parrino and wife Vickie; Nino Parrino and wife Diane. A very special nephew, Dino Acevedo, along with many other nieces, nephews and very dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Navarro Parrino, Sr.; his mother, Lucia Elizabeth Parrino; his daughter, Connie Andress; his brother, James “Rick” Parrino; his brother-in-law and best friends, Albert Dodge and Joe Massi; and his grandsons, Marshall Head and Dustin Head.
A special and heartfelt thank-you is extended to Methodist Hospital Baytown for their prompt and personal care.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any children’s charity, especially St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, honoring Ray’s deep passion for helping those in need.
Ray’s legacy of kindness, service, and steadfast love for his family will live on forever.
