Reba Templeton Beal

She lived the majority of her life in Baytown, Texas. She retired from General Telephone Company after 37 years of service. She was a part time employee of the Baytown School System. Her passions were quilting, genealogy, blue grass music, traveling and painting. She was responsible for acquiring the 8 hour work day and equal work status for female employees of General Telephone. She will truly be missed by the many people whose life she enriched.

Preceded in death by parents Walter Whitman and Nora Allison Templeton; brothers, James Templeton, Leslie Templeton, and Travis Templeton; sisters, Nadine Templeton, Phoniel Pirtle, Jewel Mears, and Helen Smith.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Don Beal; daughters, Kathy Freeman of Baytown, Donna Cary of Humble; grandson Life Robinson of Houston; brother, Winfred Templeton of Granbury, TX; and sister, Pauline Fagala of Baytown, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home, officiated by Rev Brad Hoffman. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
