

Richard Andrew Hinojosa, Sr., 51, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in Houston. He was born November 30, 1965 in Baytown to his late parents, Antonio Hinojosa, Sr. and Gloria Garcia Hinojosa.
Richard was a lifelong resident of Baytown, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1984, was an oilfield technician and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Robert M. Hinojosa.
Survivors include his wife, Petra ""Pat"" Hinojosa; children, Valarie Hinojosa Cortez and Richard Hinojosa, Jr.; grandchildren, Reese Hinojosa and Izabella Cortez; brothers, Tony Hinojosa and his wife, Barbara and Gilbert Hinojosa, Sr. and his wife, Sonya; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bonifacio and Petra Villanueva; sisters-in-law, Rebecca Pirkle, Sandra Cardenas and her husband, John, Victoria Acevedo and her husband, Dino and Debbie Villanueva and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and more family members.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2017 with a Rosary to begin at 5:00 p.m., at Navarre Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 12, 2017 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Edmund Eduarte officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Garden.
Pallbearers will be Jason Hinojosa, Matthew Hinojosa, Derric Hinojosa, Gilbert Hinojosa, Jr., Nicolas Cardenas and Tomas Cardenas.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan Hinojosa, Peyton Hinojosa, Cameron Hinojosa, Angel Sandoval, Paci Cantu, Alfred Lopez and Albert Lopez.
