

Bob was born at home on the family farm near Medford, OK on July 24, 1936 to Louis & Corene Albright. Shortly after his birth the family moved to Lamont, OK where he spent most of his childhood. He attended school at Lamont, OK & Pratt Center School. At the age of 12 he contracted polio of which he recovered fully making up two years of schooling in one year. He graduated from Tonkawa High School in 1955. He received his Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bob received an honorable discharge from the National Guard of Oklahoma on November 15, 1958.
Bob married Lawanda Thomas on October 23, 1959 to which two children were born, Kelly & Troy. The marriage was resolved in 1968.
On April 1, 1979 he relocated to Baytown, TX to begin working for Enterprise Products. In June of 1979 Sherry Robertson from Medford, OK joined him in TX. They enjoyed motorcycle riding, flying, walking the beach, camping, fishing & sailing. They lost a son in March 1981 which wasn’t easy for either of them. Sherry moved back to OK to continue her nursing education & heal at which time he lost track of her.
Bob married Janet YU on September 18, 1993 to which one child was born, Christopher. The marriage was resolved in 2021.
On June 16, 2021 he was reconnected with Sherry via Facebook & the rest is a love story. She moved to TX on December 20, 2021 & they enjoyed life side by side until his death. They were finally married on December 14, 2022.
Bob worked for Grant County Oklahoma, Koch & Enterprise. He said more than once that he “never worked a day in his life” because he loved his work. He retired from Enterprise in March 2022 after 43 years of dedication.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Sherry; his daughter & two sons, Kelly Gray (Russell), Troy (Donna) & Chris; two sisters, Linda Dobbins & Peggy Selman; sister-in-law, Lola; Sherry’s children, Seth, Kacey, Jeff, Callie, Trey & Thomas; 19 grandchildren - of which Sherry added 14; 5 greatgrandchildren; second wife, Janet; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends & 14 turtles.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis & Corene Albright; one son, Edward Allen; one brother, Don; first wife, Lawanda & two brothers-in-law.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am, Friday, June 16, 2023, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521.
