

Robert Lloyd Dooley, 75, of Baytown was born September 5, 1936 in Dallas and passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012. He was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and retired from Exxon. He was a member of Missouri Street Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Dooley; wife, Ruth Dooley; and infant child, Mary Robin Dooley. He is survived by his children and their spouses, Kelly and Deter Geurin of Hunt, Keith and Julie Dooley of Beach City, Krissy and Victor Alfano of Clear Lake, and Kara and Matt Hartleib of Baytown; mother, Tommye Dooley of Baytown; brother, Llyn Dooley of Fort Worth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Andrea and Joe Kirkpatrick of Livingston and Margaret and Bill Ehlig of Baytown; and grandchildren, Hollie, Carly, and Mason Dooley, Nick and Jake Alfano, and Hank Hartleib.
Bob was a devoted husband and father. He had a passion for cars from an early age. He loved sports from playing football for the Robert E. Lee Ganders to senior softball in recent years. He enjoyed watching his children's and grandchildren's sporting events and attending high school football games with friends.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Monday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Alfano, Victor Alfano, Deter Geurin, Matt Hartleib, Skip Hartleib, and Joe Kirkpatrick.
