Robert P. Stolz, 82, of Sun City West, AZ was born August 30, 1934, in Union City, NJ and passed away Monday, January 9, 2017, in Baytown, TX. Bob was raised in New Jersey and worked for General Foods Corporation in Hoboken, NJ as a Master Technician in the Maxwell House Coffee Division. He retired after a 35 year career. He had been a volunteer fireman in Dumont, NJ, where he rose to the rank of chief. After retiring, Bob moved to Sun City West, AZ where he volunteered at the St. Mary's Food Bank and the PORA bingo. He was captain of the Independent Bocce Club and was an avid golfer and member of the Grandview Golf Club. He was also a Sun City West Prides member.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ida Stolz; sister, Bertha Cereghino; niece, Clarice O'Brien; and son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Renee Stolz. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Stolz of Sun City West, AZ; son and daughter-in-law, Rich and Cindie Stolz of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Jayne and John Simms of Little Egg Harbor Township, NJ; grandchildren, Ben Stolz, Amy Allen-Smith, Christian Allen, Megan Coward, Lauren Stolz, Hilary Gutierrez, Jessica Simms, and Margaret Simms; and 12 great grandchildren and one on the way.

The will be a memorial service Friday, January 13, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home.
