Very sorry to hear this, I worked with Rodger for a long time at the city. He taught me a lot over the years, and shared many stories, use to run into him from time to time at Walmart, and we would spend an hour just catching up. RIP my old friend.

I am so sorry for your loss. I grew up in Moss Bluff and I went to Shiloh Baptist Church for many years. I knew Mr. Lionel, I think mainly because he was a very respected friend of our dad. I was blessed to have known Mrs, EvaLou. I love that lady so much. I used to sit with her at church. She had the most beautiful smile. Rex used to hang out with all of us in the Bluff. He was like a brother to me. We were devastated when we lost him. My brother, Steven, has been caring for a dear family friend, Howard Nevue (aka Spider) for a long time and he actually saw Roger and talked to him not long ago at the care facility not knowing that would be the last time. While I didn't personally know Roger, I write this out of respect for his parents and his brother, who I know welcomed him right into Heaven. May God bless you during these days ahead, but know he is with them all.
