Ronnie Dwayne Pitts

Ronnie Dwayne “Light’nin” Pitts, 64, of Highlands, TX passed away February 17, 2012. He was born on November 13, 1947. He was a graduate of Lee High School Class of 1966. He also served in the U.S. Army and was an avid gun enthusiast. Ronnie worked 47 years as a pipe-liner, welder and inspector. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and four-wheeling.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Dalton Pitts; mother, Bertha Lee Barron; and brother, Jerry Kent Pitts.

He is survived by his sister, Cynthia Sue Pitts-Webb and husband James Henry Webb; nieces, Kimberly Ann Webb, and Jamie Sue Webb-Burch and husband Shelton Lee Burch; great nieces and nephews, Stacey LeeAnna Edmondson and Harold Pilgreen, and Henry Dalton Edmondson, Miranda Nicole Burch, Shelton Jasper Burch and Bridget Leigh Burch; great-great niece, Khloie LeeAnna Pilgreen.

The family will receive friends and family on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Habermehl officiating. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery with Military Honors.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Shelton Burch, Harold Pilgreen, Luke Jordan, Ryan Jordan, Jerry Allen, and Joey Flinn. Serving as Honorary Pallbearer will be Calvin Stanton.
