Ruby M. Newsom, 66, of Baytown, TX was born October 13, 1946 in Olney and passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 in a Baytown hospital. She taught genealogy and quilt making at the Wallisville Heritage Park in Chambers County.
She is survived by her husband, Lynn Newsom of Baytown; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. James Lynn and Tonya Newsom of Brownsboro; daughter and son-in-law, Thelma Renee and Greg Kipe of Baytown; parents, Adrian and Marie Woods of Kilgore; and grandchildren, Madison and Victoria Newsom, Lauren Childs, and Evelyn and Hunter Kipe.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. David Orban officiating.
