Sandra Flynt

Sandra Flynt, 73, of Baytown was born February 3, 1935 in Fort Worth and passed away at her home Sunday, June 1, 2008. She taught at Travis Elementary and retired from the Goose Creek School District and was a member of the Baytown Retired Teachers Association, Memorial Baptist Church and the YMCA. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and painting.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 5, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Clines Prairie Cemetery in Huntsville at 1:00 p.m.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Vera Millard and brother, Don D. Millard and is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harvey ""Bill"" Flynt of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Janet Flynt of League City and Gary and Linda Flynt of Baytown; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Mark Medrano of Baytown; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Ed McLenna of Santa Fe and Nancy and William Mundkowsky of Palm Springs, CA; brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Carol Millard of Palm Springs, CA; and grandchildren, Emily and Jacob Flynt, Charles and Jonathon Flynt and Virginia and Jordan Berg.
