Hi Nancy,
 
So sorry to hear such bad news.  I know how hard it must be to lose Jane, but I am so thankful she passed without pain.  We all hope we can go the same way, someday.
 
I  have many memories of her.  I would run to her for a swabbing whenever my throat was sore.  She was one of the great cooks and I am still making her recipes to this day.  She drove us to school many times in that old Buick.  We always had pressed and starched clothes thanks to her.
My mother was forever envious of how clean and neat her house was. 
 
We all make our mark in this world.

When we split MOW Rt. 2, I selfishly made sure that Mrs. Young was part of my newly reorganized route! I loved talking with her about the soap, Y&R; how great her home always smelled (candle on stove); how the sun shone thru her miniature bottles on her kitchen window sill. I love that my children were able to know her; that she was able to hold my granddaughter during one of her visits from CT and how it made me smile when I saw photos of my trips on her fridge. She loved the Astros and the Rockets. I loved hearing about her family reunions, about Nancy and all her family.  I liked to imagine that had my parents and grandparents been alive I would have spent time with them just as I did with her. I loved her chicken-n-dumplings! I just loved her so much..

Toni Cooper delivered meals with me on Tues. and she was in great spirits. Toni and I were blessed to have spent time with her on what would be her last day with us. I know she is in a better place, but I am selfish and miss her.

Granny, you will be dearly missed. Your were considered the Queen of having garge sales along with curing sore throats. You always had a smile on your face. I will never forget the awesome fudge and sand tarts you made.. I'm sure dad is enjoying them now. Until we meet again one day. Love, Kari

I always knew where I stood with Aunt Jane.  She loved me unconditionally. She was a woman who was down to earth and didn't need frills to identify her.  I could always count on her honesty and compasion mixed with a little humor.  I love her so much and will truely miss her.  I look forward to sitting on her cake in heaven! (Inside joke)

I regret that I will miss the visitation as I am going out of town tomorrow morning. My deepest sympathy to all her family and friends - I knew her long ago, but she always had a special place in my heart. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Sarah Jane was such a lovely women. She was a caring mother and grandmother.   We always enjoyed the times that we shared with her when she was visiting with Nancy and Jerry.

My fondest memories is of Mimi and Pappy and spending my summers with them with my cousin Kari at their Baytown home.  We had so much fun! I will miss you Mimi, take care of the boys, they have missed you.

Aunt Jane, as we affectionately called her, will be remembered always.  The Parker family will always have such fond memories of her.
