Selma Elaine Osburne

Selma Osbourne, 90, of Baytown, passed away Sunday July 2, 2006 in Houston. She was born February 13, 1916 in Opelousas, La., and had lived in Baytown for 38 years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Baytown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Osbourne; her son, James H. Osbourne; her daughter, Carolyn O. Easterling; two brothers; and one sister.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Rhonda O. and husband Edward Gallodoro of Chalkville AL; grandson, James L. and wife Melissa S. Osbourne of Millard, MS; granddaughters, Kim M. Easterling of Houston, Rachel O. and husband Steven C. Reggio of Poplarville, MS; daughter-in-law, Lynda S. Osbourne formally of Chalmette, LA; son-in-law, Hank Easterling of Humble; six great grandchildren, Ashleigh M. Osbourne, Chris P. Gallodoro, James L. Osbourne II, Collin J. Gallodoro, Steven J. Reggio, and Heather A. Osbourne; and sister, Georgia Mae LeDoux of Ringgold, LA.

The family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. The funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Clements officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery.
