Shaun lived a wonderful, happy life and always wanted what was best for everyone else. He was married to Katelyn Griggs for 4 ½ years. Shaun worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and cherished everyone he worked with as well as his regulars. He had a passion for biking, hiking, animals, traveling, trying new craft beers and spending time with his family. Shauns favorite places to travel to was Garner State Park and Italy. He will be truly missed by all.
Shaun is preceded in death by grandparents - RB & Sherry Griggs; grandfather - Sonny Johnson; Uncle - Chris Johnson.
Shaun is survived by Wife - Katelyn Griggs; Son - Damon Griggs; Daughter - Avery Griggs; Parents - Bobby & Rose Griggs; Grandmother - Dorothy Johnson; Sister - Candace Simmons; Sister - Heather Carrico; Brother - Alex Griggs; brother in law - Michael Carrico, numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dogs Bella and Molly.
