Stephen Nicholas "Nick" Johnson

Nick worked for several years in Operations at Mobay (Bayer Corporation). He also worked as a mechanic and then in construction as a pipefitter. Nick had a love for baseball. He coached and umpired for many years. Nick was an avid Astros, Rangers, and Phillies Fan. He was also an active and dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge.

Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Y. Hammack; father, Samuel L. Johnson and step-mother Loretta Johnson; and by his brother, David Williams.

He is survived by his three children, Jennifer Griffith and husband Lee, Jeffery Johnson and wife Jennifer, and Kari Lafargue; by grandchildren, Kaylee Steadham and fiancé Kooper, Kyle Steadham, Austin Johnson and fiancé Cassidy, Wyatt Johnson, Jessica Kelley and husband Cade, Lane Johnson, Lukas Lafargue and fiancé Kloe, Tanner Griffith, and Wade Carder and wife Channa; great-grandchildren, Addilyn, Branson, Eli, Addison, Coltor, Clover, Clairatie, Hagen, Jaxson, Dallie, and Delilah; brothers and sister, Terry Johnson, Danny Williams, Jeff Johnson, and Phyllis Ray, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 11 am -12 pm, Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, Texas 77521, with the funeral service to follow and begin at 12 pm.
