Stephen was born in 1936 to parents Walter Keene Linscott and Ruth McCray Linscott. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1955. After graduating from The University of Texas in 1960, he began a career at IBM. An amateur astronomer, he was very proud to have worked for IBM at NASA during the Apollo missions. He will be remembered for his kind and generous heart and quick wit. He is survived by his wife, Judy Enderli Linscott and his daughter, Stephanie Linscott.
