I am so sorry for your loss.  Steven was a wonderful man. I loved Steven and I love your family. He will be dearly missed.  Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. and Mrs. Eddleman and family,

The past 48 hours have been extremely rough for myself and some of Steve's friends that were there Tuesday morning.  I can't imagine how painful it is for you to lose your child, but being a mother myself, this makes me appreciate life, my children and our health much more than I did prior to Steve's death. I wish I could have done more to help him, I think we are all feeling that way right now. I just want everyone to remember what a good person Steve was, a good friend, and an awesome cook.I hope everyone that was close to him and watched what he went through just remembers the old Steve, washing his car religiously, mowing his yard , (in fact he sometimes started a neighborhood competition, he'd start mowing his, and it would motivate all the other guys to mow theirs.)Truthfully, his yard always looked better than most of ours!  We will truly miss him, and his car peeling out in front of our houses just to get a reaction out of all of us surrounding him! Living next door to his house will never be the same. We really miss him, and we will really miss our neighbor. We hope he is at peace now, and not hurting. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

How sad I was to read about Steven this morning. I`m so sorry. What a precious young man. I have such good memories of him growing up in Fair Park with my Connie & Skipper.Remember Skip shooting him with the b.b. gun and I came home and gave Skip a good spanking. We also were so happy to se you & Joe at the apts. when we had to move. I also remember Skip running through your screen door and how we laughed. My prayers go out to you both and his family too.

I stopped by Fair Park to visit mom and dad today. What happy childhood memories we each shared growing up here!

I was shocked and saddened to hear about Steve.  I just can't believe it.  I have SO many memories of him.  We were friends for many years.  I have memories of going to New Braunfels with him and our group, he was a groomsman in my wedding.  Jennifer, you and your family are in my prayers, girl.  I always remember him as being such a wonderful friend to me.  He lent his shoulder to me many times when I sure needed it.  I'll forever remember him as Little Ed.

I just don't have the words to express my sorrow...I recall catching huge redfish at the spillway, shooting many ducks in the marsh, floating down the river in new braunsfuls, and Steven was there for all of it... I worked with Steve at the Sheldon Mill. He was a great guy and fun to be around. I am very sad about his passing and I know he will be greatly missed.

I was priviledged to work with Steve and Jolene at the Sheldon Mill.  What a blessing that they found one another and had those precious years together.  I know the family has a strong support system with many friends and other family memebers to help them get through this grieving process.  I lost my sister in January and know how it feels to lose someone so close.  We'll never forget them and just have to chesish all the time we had them with us.  My prayers to out to each and every person who is grieving Steve's passing.
