Steven Elwood Seals

Steven Elwood Seals, 55, of Mont Belvieu was born October 17, 1953 in Picayune, MS and passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at home. He was a member of Old River Baptist Church and was an operator at Bayer, Inc. for 26 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Seals and is survived by is wife of 33 years, Janna Seals of Mont Belvieu; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Rachel Seals of Baytown; daughter, Emily Seals of Baytown; mother, Ruth Seals of Magnolia; brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg and Cathy Seals of Dayton and Tim and Darla Seals of Crosby; sister and brother-in-law, Debbie and Allen Ripley of Magnolia; and granddaughter, Madalyn Ruth Seals; Father-In-Law and Mother-in-Law, Johnny & Janyce Gunn of Leona; Brothers-In-Law and Sisters-in-Law, John & Theresa Gunn of Pheonix, AZ, Kevin and Jaimi Law of Mont Belvieu, and Jeff & Jodi Leggett of Mont Belvieu. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, May 2, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. until 12 Noon. A memorial service will follow at Old River Baptist Church, 12948 FM 1409, Dayton, TX 77535 at 2:00 p.m. At his request, his body will be cremated.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Old River Baptist Church Building Fund, 12948 FM 1409, Dayton, TX 77535.
