He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Clara Fowler; brother, Melvin Fowler; and sister, Grace Mohrbacher. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joyce Fowler of Baytown; sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Sue Fowler of Baytown, Steve and Norma Fowler of League City, and Greg and Patty Fowler of Alpharetta, GA; daughter, Vicki Steed and fiancé Mike Bounds of Mont Belvieu; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Emily and Tom Bartel of Winter Springs, FL; grandchildren, Tommy, Scott, Tonya, Matthew, Joe, Jenny, Erica, Joyće, Nicholas, and Sierra; great grandchildren, Edie, Allie, and Beau; and special friends, Bob and Wanda Cover of Land O' Lakes, FL.

His family will start receiving friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday, July 9, 2015, beginning at 3:00 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Ruehl officiating.
