Tom W. Slack, Sr.

Mr. Slack was a longtime resident of Baytown, member of First Christian Church for over 60 years, U. S. Marine Corps veteran and retired car salesman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dorothy M. Hall Slack; son, Tom Slack, Jr.; all of his brothers and sisters and a granddaughter, Holly Ann Slack.

Survivors include his sons, Bob Slack and wife Vicky of League City and Lynn Slack and wife Darlene of Baytown; grandchildren, Tiffany Phillips, Robert Slack, Jr., Lyndsey Slack, Kayleigh Slack, Bliss Taylor, Lacey Mattek, Dean Slack and Trish Slack and great-grandchildren, Cody Slack, Robby Slack, III, Cameron Slack, Megan Phillips and Madeline Slack.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Lowe officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Lyndsey Slack, Robert Slack, Gerry Garrett, Todd Phillips, Leonard Abrams and Roger Byers.
