Ursula Ms. John John

Ursula "Ms. John" John, 72, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at the Triumph Hospital of East Houston. She was a native of Trinidad, West Indies, lived in Baytown for the last 35 years and was a member of Calvary Temple Church.

She is survived by: Children: Jemma and Robert Upshaw, Carlyle and Ivy Lewis, Angela and Lincoln Payne, Patrick Lewis and Nadine Bonamy, Ursula Lewis, Augustus and Sherry Ann John and Ann Marie John; 14 Grandchildren: Nathalie Gordon, Michael Rideau, Joshua Rideau, Ebonie Lewis, Carlyle Lewis, II, Channing Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Carlylian Lewis, Ariane Lewis, Ashlee Payne, Tamika Lewis, Jamel Lewis, Kadeem Lewis and Shane Wright; 7 Great-Grandchildren; several Nieces and Nephews and a host of dear friends. She was preceded in death by: Husband: Eversley “Mr. John” John; Parents: Donald Lewis and Elizabeth Humphrey Lewis and Brothers: Victor Lewis and Darwin Lewis.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 11, 2007 at the Navarre Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Baytown. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Calvary Temple with Rev. William M. McKnight officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Patrick Lewis, Carlyle Lewis, II, Lincoln Payne, Mitchell Gordon, Robert Upshaw and Shane Wright. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Channing Lewis, Carlyle Lewis, Joshua Rideau and Ashlee Payne.

There is no graveside scheduled.
