Vearle L. Cain

Vearle L. Cain, 72, of Baytown, TX, formerly WaKeeney, KS, was born March 4, 1933 in Sheldon, KS and passed away Monday, February 13, 2006 at her home. She was a retired LVN and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and TOPS Club #594, both in Baytown and the Elks Lodge Auxiliary and WaKeeney, KS Rebecca Lodge.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 17, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in WaKeeney, KS with Pastor Randy Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at WaKeeney. Visitation will begin that morning at 10:00 a.m. at the church and last until service time.

Pallbearers will be Jason Brown, Jeff Brown, Randy Moore, Keith Leake, Richard Lovin and Mark Conness.

She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters and is survived by her husband, Richard Cain of Baytown; daughters and sons-in-law, Twyla and Scott Leake of Baytown and Penny and David Anderson of WaKeeney, KS; sisters and brothers-in-law, Iva and Raymond Morts of Fulton, MO and Viola and Charles Crawford of Marshall, MO; grandchildren, Carol and Randy Moore and Keith Leake, all of Baytown and Jason and Nan Brown and Jeff and Megan Brown, all of Ellis, KS; great grandchildren, Taylor Moore of Baytown and Harley Wright, Cassie Wright, and Abigail Brown, all of Ellis, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
