Vernon O. ""V. O Williams

Vernon O. “V. O.” Williams, 91, of Baytown, TX was born February 4, 1915 in Iola, TX and passed away at home Monday, October 9, 2006 surrounded by his loving family. He was a retired machinist at ExxonMobil Chemical and was a member of the ExxonMobil Annuitants Club and the I.A.M.A.W. Local #1051. He was a member of the Missouri Street Church of Christ.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with David Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Knox and Abbie Williams; brothers, James Weldon Williams and Rascoe Oran Williams; son, Vernon T. Williams; and grandson, James E. “Bubba” Massengale and is survived by his wife of 67 years, Ruth Black Williams; daughter and son-in-law, Jean Ann and James Massengale; grandchildren and their spouses, Steffani Williams-Burt and husband Michael, James V. and Deborah Isaacks, Joel T. and Kristin Isaacks, Jason L. and Lori Isaacks; Donnie and Rhonda Massengale, Brenda Meredith, Robert and Steffani Massengale, Tommy Massengale, Timmy and Denice Massengale, and Mike and Christy Thorne; great grandchildren, Ethan, Evan, Easton, Kylee, Kyle, Kameron, Zachary, Christina, Asher, and Aiden Isaacks, Justin and Jacob Massengale, Heath and Mandy Massengale, Jamie and Michael Navarre, Bobby, Maci, McKenzie, and McCade Massengale, Joshua, Colby, and Priscilla Massengale, and Paxton Burt; great great granddaughters, Jillian Massengale and Kaylee Navarre; and niece and husband, Evalynn and Gene Christiansen.
