She is preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Parkinson; son, Bud Parkinson; daughter, Beverly Burkett and parents.

She is survived by her daughter, Coco Parkinson of Channelview, TX and daughter Debbie Day of Highlands, TX; grandchildren Latischia McDonald and husband Kelly of Damon, TX, April Day and husband John Jr. of Houston, TX, Byron Parkinson and wife Tiffany of Channelview, TX, Randy Shaw and wife Sarah of Highlands, TX, Kelly Rothman and husband Rob of Palm Dale, CA, James Day and wife Jennifer of Palm Dale, CA, and Jason Day of Florida; great-grandchildren, Austin, Jared, Charles, Allyson, Jade, Benjamin, Bud, Zoey, Jessica, Zada, Seth, Devon, Tye, Josslyn, Jaycob, Jessica, Haley and Jimmy; great-great-grandchildren, Bentley and Liam; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1st from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 2nd at 10am, both at South Drive Baptist Church at 15229 South Drive in Channelview, TX with the internment to follow at San Jacinto Cemetery in Houston, TX.

Pallbearers are John Day Jr., Jared Day, Austin Oney, Benny Perry, Ray Parkinson and Joel Spahni. The services will be officiated by Bro. Kent Wilson, Bro. Kenneth Plunk and Bro. Johnny Dowell.
