

Wanda was a homemaker and took care of children and grandchildren always spoiling them with ice cream and taking them to Burger King. She was a wonderful cook, family always looked forward to her homemade candy and cookies. Wanda also worked outside the home as a caregiver at a Nursing Home. Later in
life she enjoyed reading Danielle Steele Novels and Star Magazines.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Don Carey; siblings, Royce Clement, twin sister Shirley Clement, and Brenda Finley.
She is survived by children, Norma Parks (Robert), Jerry Don Carey Jr. (Connie), Robert Carey (Laura); by 6 grandchildren, Chad Parks (Maria), Chelsy Kemp (Gilbert Sedeno), Johsua Carey, Lindsay Fletcher (Cameron), Sarah Carey, Macey Durbin (Jason); 13 great- grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother-in-laws,
Edwin Carey, Gayle Carey (Alva); sister-in-law, Jerrye Carey; along with numerous nieces and nephews, and her loving friend of 40 plus years Rosa Musgrave.
We would also like to thank her favorite team members at Focus Care Burnet Bay.
A visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521, on Monday, March 2, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.
The committal service will follow at 10:30 am, at the pavilion at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Road, Baytown, Texas 77520.
