

William “Bill” Donald Hodges, 74, of Baytown, Texas, passed away June 9, 2015. Bill was born in Baytown on January 10, 1941. Bill attended Robert E Lee High School and graduated in 1960. He went on to attend and graduate from Southwest Texas Jr. College in 1965. Bill was a long time business owner of Hodges Overhead Door Company in Baytown and Coady Distribution Company in Houston, Texas. He also worked for Cloplay as a SW Texas Regional Salesman.
Bill was a Mason with the Sampson Masonic Lodge #231 of Highlands, Texas. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He was a member of Coady Baptist Church in Coady, Texas and was also affiliated with Cedar Bayou Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Francis Hodges and TC Hodges of Baytown, Texas; brother, Roy Ellis Hodges and brother in law, Bubba Crawford of Baytown, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Geraldine Tarver Hodges of Baytown; daughter Teresa Ann Hodges of Baytown; son, Steve Lee Hodges and wife Nora of Highlands, Texas; grandchildren, Anna Anzaldua and husband Aaron of Baytown, Justin Hodges, Shelby Hodges and James Selmser III of Highlands, Texas, Marissa Reitzel and husband Caleb of Conroe, Texas; great-grandchildren, Trey Anzaldua and Dane Anzaldua of Baytown and Henley Reitzel of Conroe, Texas; sister, Ann Hodges Crawford of Baytown; brothers, James Richard Hodges and wife Sandy of Baytown, Texas, Emery “Corky” Hodges and wife Denise of Baytown, Texas and Jack Hodges and wife Diane of Thornton, Texas; a host of nieces and nephews; and speical friend Smiley and Debbie Gobert.
Serving as pallbearers will be Justin Hodges, James Selmser III, Trey Anzaldua, Dane Anzaldua, Cody Orsak, and Josh Hodges. Honoree Pallbearers: Billy Don Gobert, Duke Gobert, Jason Hodges, Troy Hodges, Clint Orsak, and William “Willie” Hodges.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Earthman Funeral Home. Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery, Houston, TX.
