Wilma was the best grandmother to our Allison we could have asked for. She delighted in Allison with all the love a grandmother could. Wilma was happiest when she learned she was going to be a grandmother. As well as teaching her Sunday school students at Trinity. She was the first to tell me when we I was pregnant with Allison that children were gifts from God. Her tradition of making Christmas cookies with Allison and Avery was something she thoroughly enjoyed. Allison enjoyed watching Paw Paw snitching before the total count was complete. I can only imagine how happy Allison was to greet Grammy P. Til I see yall again.

I was so saddened by the news of the death of Wilma. I remember her as a faithful member of Trinity (all of my life), her gentle spirit and her infectiously beautiful smile. I pray that the peace of God surrounds you James, and all of the family members, including you, Barbara. It won’t be much longer... we will see the Lord and those we have been privileged to know and love during our lifetime.

We share lots of sweet memories of James &Wilma. Wilma was such a devoted Christian lady. Always very pleasant, soft-spoken, loved children and devoted herself to Christ and her family. She set a tremendous example for everyone to follow. I know we shall see her again.. We pray for peace, comfort and God's loving arms to engulf James and her family.
