Arthur Frank Arnold, born January 15, 1937, in New York City to Arthur and Minnie Arnold, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on April 8, 2024, in Groves, Texas. He was an Army Veteran who proudly served his country. Stationed in Korea, California, Hawaii, Georgia, Texas, and Canada during his military service, he held a special fondness for Canada. After retiring from the military, he and his wife traveled the country together. Arthur was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and found joy in bowling.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Clara Mae, and his son, Paul Hogan. He is survived by his brother, George Arnold and wife Julie of Melbourne, Florida; daughters, Dawn Buffington of McDonough, Georgia; Doris Jones and her husband Joe of Sour Lake, Texas; and Kim Christian and her husband Doug of Shelton, Washington. He is also survived by his grandchildren: April Hawkins and her husband Russell of Port Neches, Texas; Matt Christian of Spokane, Washington; and Nicole and Cassie Callais of Seattle, Washington. Additionally, he leaves behind five great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Arthur Frank Arnold will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family. As a devout Christian, he found solace in his faith. Now, free of all pain, he is reunited with his beloved wife, Clara Mae, in Heaven. May he rest in peace.
