Debbie Yancey Sistrunk, 60, a lifelong resident of Beaumont passed away on Tuesday October 20, 2015 in Port Arthur. Debbie was born on February 20, 1955 in Beaumont, Texas to her parents Dorris Clifford Yancey, Jr. and Otimeice O’Barr Yancey who preceded her in death. Debbie was a homemaker who enjoyed meeting the needs of people and was known to take care of anybody human or animal. She also was a very lucky avid gambler, played games of any kind, and love to bowl. She specially enjoyed going to the lake, taking ski trips and cruises. The Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans were her choice of sports team to watch.
Surviving Debbie are her loving husband of 40 years, Rod Sistrunk of Beaumont, son Ryan Sistrunk and wife Whitney of Lumberton, daughter, Kayla Sistrunk of Beaumont, brother, Dorris Clifford Yancey, III and wife Jackie of Baton Rouge, one grandson Blake Sistrunk, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 23, 2015 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. in the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
