Dora Adrienne Moseley, 100, of Beaumont, passed Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of New Canton, IL., Dora was a longtime resident of Bevil Oaks, before moving to Beaumont in 2017. Dora was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Bevil Oaks. Dora was a Volunteer with Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, and a homemaker. Dora enjoyed painting, and especially China painting.
A Celebration of Dora's Life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 1:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the funeral home.
Dora was preceded in death by her husband Meekie D. Moseley, Jr., parents, Joseph and Estella Risinger, sisters, Louise Leake, Ruth Fletcher, and Betty East.
Dora is survived by her son, Meekie D. Moseley, III and his wife Carla of Kountze, daughter, Linda Heter and her husband Dennis of Rogers, AR., grandchildren, Meekie D. Moseley, IV., and his wife Kalyn of Lumberton, Lynda Davis and her husband Phillip of China, TX., Eric Whatley and his fiancé Cristy of Alba, TX., Lora Moser and her husband Casey of Lago Vista, TX., great grandchildren, Ollie Moseley, Marley Moseley, PFC Lucas Leach USMC, Abigayle Leach, and Madeline Moseley all of Lumberton, Brynn Whatley and her fiancé Kyle Hammond, and Blane Whatley all of Alba, TX., Conner Moser, and Jace Moser both of Iowa Park, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dora's honor to, The Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont Volunteer Program, 3080 College St., Beaumont, Texas 77701.
Dora will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
