

She married George Edward Hentrich on August 6, 1938 in the First Baptist Church of Winfield, Kansas. Ermal and George moved to Beaumont, Texas around 1942 through his work with City Service Pipeline. He started his own company, George Hentrich Contracting and was a general contractor in the Beaumont area clearing many of property and pools including the land that the cemetery is on today.
Ermal worked as a clerk for the Beaumont Auto Auction for many years. She was a member of American Business Women’s Association in the Spindletop Chapter where she received businesswoman of the year in 1982; along with in her later years she was in Eastern Star as her sons John and George Hentrich are in the Quicksaw Lodge #1376. She was an avid bowler and played on numerous leagues at the old Gateway Bowling Lanes when John and Sue were in there teen years.
Ermal was preceded in death by her parents Lula Mae & Earl J. Holden; brothers Harvey Holden of Eldorado, Kansas and Harold Holden of Blackwell, Oklahoma and a sister Dorotha; and husband, Geroge Edward Hentrich.
She is survived by her 4 biological children Jane Ann Sogga and husband Frank of Lafayette, Louisiana; George Earl Hentrich and wife Donna of Buna, Texas; John Edward Hentrich of Beaumont; and Jennifer Sue Herbelin Bush and husband Rodney of Stockdale, Texas; and Linda Lawrence of Beaumont, Texas who Ermal embraced dearly as another daughter. She also is survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 extended grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and family and friends.
A funeral service will be held Monday April 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
