Evelyn Joy Adams, 83, of Beaumont, died August 17, 2023 at her residence. A native of San Augustine, TX., Evelyn has lived in Beaumont since 1959, and was a retired bookkeeper with Aflac. Evelyn loved to paint and go to garage sales.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
A Gathering of Friends and Family will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, William C. and Hattie Mae Steptoe Norwood, brother, Ronnie Lynn Norwood, and sister, Mary E. Buchanan.
Evelyn is survived by her 2 sons, Bruce Adams of Kirbyville, and Thomas William Adams of College Station, TX.
Evelyn will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
