Faith Ellen Sparks

Faith was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in crafting, especially ceramics and sewing, and had a true gift for gardening — tending to her plants with the same care and love she showed to those around her. She also enjoyed playing Yahtzee, watching movies, and rarely missed an episode of her favorite soap opera. Faith had a deep love for classic country and western music; especially Garth Brooks. Whether it was the sound of dice rolling, a familiar storyline unfolding on the screen, or the comforting sound of a steel guitar, these simple pleasures brought her joy. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Turbo, who was always by her side bringing her comfort and happiness. Her creativity, warmth, and gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert A. Sparks Jr.; her parents; and her brothers, Carl Horten, Bruce Horten, Keith Horten, and Brian Horten.

Faith is lovingly remembered by her children: Cindy Girouard and husband Raymond "Bubba", Carl Miller and wife Angel, Candace Tinney, and Jerry Reed and wife Carol. She was a devoted grandmother to Shana Meeks and husband Joseph, David Girouard and wife Janet, Roland Girouard and wife Sarah, Chad Tinney and wife Brenda, Brad Tinney, Cameron "Hunter" Cooper, Tracey Vines and Chere Dockery, Kelly Reed and Mauricio Gonzalez, and Jerry Reed Jr. and wife Julianna.

She was also a proud great-grandmother to Hailey Meeks and Perry Haynes, Chardonnay Mariah Meeks, Ravyn Meeks and Micah Manor, Madelynn Girouard, Margaret Girouard, Zach Romberg, Wyatt Romberg, Sawyer Romberg, Bailey Girouard, Savana Girouard and Jason Waddell, Kandace Tinney, Atlas Tinney, Mercedes Smith and husband Adam, Ethan Tinney, Alex Gomez, Zoey Lee, Hailey Debonis, Briseis Gonzalez, Landan Reed, and Stetson Reed.

Her legacy continues through her great-great-grandchildren: Payton Haynes, Hayden Haynes, Serenity Manor, Joah Manor, Carter Waddell, and Parker Waddell.

She is also survived by her siblings: Craig Horten and wife Hannelore, Gail Seibert, Dawn Horten, and Isla Bauer and husband Tom; her sister-in-law Marilyn Horten; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.

Faith will be deeply missed by all who had the blessing of knowing her. Her legacy of love, creativity, and kindness will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
