Gloria Mae Rantasha

Gloria Mae Rantasha 91, a sixty-one year resident of Lumberton passed away on Tuesday January 31, 2017 in Beaumont. Ms. Rantasha was the daughter of John Neff, Sr. and Edna Smith Neff of Mobile, Alabama and had lived in Mobile until 1935. She moved to Beaumont with her widowed mother and her three children.

She was a dedicated worker for the Beaumont Enterprise and retired as the Supervisor from the Advertising Production Department after forty-three years of service.

She is survived by her brother; John “Jay” Neff and wife Marilyn of Sherwood Arkansas, nephews; Thomas “Tim” Neff and wife Linda of Silsbee, John Neff and wife Patricia of Lumberton, and Patrick Neff of Beaumont. Gloria had two longtime friends, Marajane Lewis and Alva Ellison, who were always ready to go some place. Gloria loved animals and always had more than one and is survived by her three dogs; Rusty, Bandit, Jasper, three cats; Papa, Charlie, and George.

Visitation will be held on Friday February 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Infant Jesus Catholic Church in Lumberton with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
