

Scott Kamp was born November 23, 1952 in Beaumont, Texas to the late Franklin P. Kamp and Doris Marie Kamp. He passed away on Thursday, March 23rd, 2017 in Beaumont TX. He is survived by his daughter, Aimee Kamp Jenkins of Franklin, TN and husband Jeff Jenkins; granddaughters Tori and Fallon Jenkins of Franklin, TN; brothers Frank Kamp and wife Melody, Rick Kamp and wife Pam, Mike Kamp and wife Jada and a host of other family and friends. He was employed at AT&T and retired in 2007 with 33 years of service. He was a man who loved God and his family. A talented musician, he began playing the guitar and steel guitar at the age of 16 in church, he traveled for many years playing steel guitar at church revivals and camp meetings. He was a former Sunday school teacher, avid hunter and fisher, who had a love for the outdoors and adventure. Post retirement, he and his family moved to Columbia, TN in 2008 where he was honored to have the opportunity to run sound for Joey+Rory. Please join us in celebrating the life and cherish the memories of Gregory Scott Kamp. The viewing will take place on Monday, March 27th at 6pm and the service will be at 10am on Tuesday, March 28th. Both will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4599 Pine Street, Beaumont TX 77703.
