Harold Pelt Jr.

Harold spent his childhood years in Louisiana. In 1964 he married Mary Catherine Cisneros Pelt. Mr. Pelt was a retired ironworker for Local 125.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Willie Mae Townley Pelt, and father Harold Pelt Sr., one brother Billy Horace Pelt, and sister Edith Marie Bayer.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Mary Catherine Pelt of Beaumont, one daughter, Dana M. Smith and husband Quinton of Beaumont, his grandchildren, Quinton Smith Jr., Emmanuel Smith, Brandon Smith, and Trinity Smith of Beaumont, brothers, Bobby Pelt of Port Acres, Johnnie Pelt of Silsbee, and Carl Pelt of Beaumont, sisters, Vercie Slay of Nederland, Betty Moore of Port Neches, Billie Jean Dugas of Port Acres, Carla Tamayo of Beaumont, Paula Leviness of Beaumont, also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 beginning at 11:00 a.m. till service time which will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
