Harvey Jess Schilling

Harvey Jess Schilling, 96, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 30, 2011. Harvey was born July 13, 1914. Harvey Jess Schilling is survived by his wife, Ruth Beard Schilling, sister, Marie Campbell; sons, Bill Schilling and Chip Schilling. Granddaughters: Deborah, Kathleen and Diana . Great grandchildren Angel, Robert, Danielle, Derek , Katy, Morgan, Clayton, and Hunter; great great grandchildren, Reese, Caine, Heath, Jordan, Anthony, Mason, Kaleb, and Conner. Harvey was a member of the Masonic Lodge #1165 for 66 years and also attended Masonic Lodge #1320, retired from Mobil Oil after 45 years of service and member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. Harvey was also a long time member of the Pompano Club and was known for his classy dance moves. A special thanks to Sylvia Bell and Jessica Bell, caregivers to our loving Bypop, also Miranda and staff at Professional Home Health Services, and the wonderful caring staff at Harbor Hospice.

Viewing for family and friends will be on Monday, May 2, 2011, from 4 till 8 pm, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, TX 77703.

Funeral services will be at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at 10 am., with a graveside Masonic service to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, TX. A repass of family and friends will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church, located at 3810 North Major Drive, Beaumont, TX immediately following the service.
