Helen Hallmark

Helen Estelle Hallmark, 89, of Nederland, passed away on Sunday March 2, 2014 at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. A native of Colmesneil, she was a lifelong resident of Nederland. Helen was born on March 5, 1924 to her parents Roddy and Estelle (James) Moore who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her husband George Hallmark, two brothers Buster Moore, Jack Moore, 2 sisters Hazel Mae Wigley and Guyanell Hughes. Helen was a telephone PBX operator for Lamar University during her professional working years. She was a faithful member of the Groves Community Seventh Day Adventist Church. For hobbies, she enjoyed all types of gardening, crocheting, bowling on Joanne’s Beauty Salon Team, utilizing her lifetime membership for exercising at Curves, taking vacations especially those at JoAnne’s and Buddy’s beach cabin which allowed her to fish and therefore was known affectionately as “fisherwoman”. She was an avid supporter of the South Park Greenies. Surviving Helen are her sons, Johnny Fore and his wife Liz of China, Tx, Lloyd Fore and his wife Michelle of Sour Lake, two daughters Rononna Williams and her husband J.D. of Lumberton and Donalyn O’Quinn and her husband L.T. of Beaumont, one brother, Ken Moore and wife Linda of Houston. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, Chad Romig and wife Nicolette, Slade Romig and wife Heather, Heather Campbell and husband Thomas, Jaime Bruno and husband Blake, Jade Thibodeaux and husband Corey, Angelique Powell and Husband David, Clint Fore and wife Carrie, Cole Fore, Joshua Fore and wife Whitley, eight great grandchildren, Grayson Romig, Haley Romig, Hunter Romig, Laney Campbell, Liberty Campbell, Josie Powell, Kyler Fore and Rylan Fore, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 4, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont.
