Helen M. Hobbs, age 73, died Sunday, April 28, 2013 in Beaumont, TX. Graveside services will at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Helen was born in Nevada, Missouri on November 29, 1939. She retired from Petro as a restaurant manager. She was a retired member of the Tunica Social Club.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years Truman Hobbs and a son Truman Allen Hobbs. Her parents Ralph and Pauline Shouse.
Survivors include her son, Terry Hobbs I of Beaumont, TX, a daughter Debbie Henderson and her husband Paul of Vidor. A brother Wayne Shouse and his wife Donna of Jones, OK. Six grandchildren, Larry Paul Henderson, John Allen Hobbs, Tammy Hobbs, Michael Henderson, Terry Hobbs II and Tiffany Hobbs. 10 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the family would prefer pot plants.
