Hulen worked as supervisor for United Gas Pipeline before his retirement.
Preceding Hulen in death were his wife, Mary Theresa Benoit; son, David Vincent Benoit, brothers, Clifford James Benoit, Joseph Didier Benoit; sisters, Evela East and Evelyn Michon.
Survivors include daughters, Donna Hebert (Richard), Kandy Benoit Fluitt; brother, Nolan Benoit; sisters, Lena LaBove, Virgie Stokes; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
